Finance Clerk

Entry Level Full-Time Position Available


Accounts Payable: Process accounts payable payments; Track expenses, Manage Vendors, and Identify trends in spending; Reconcile school credit card statements in coordination with school credit card holders.
Medical Assistance: billing, processing and filing.
General Duties: Assist Finance Director with projects and daily activities as needed; Remote Deposit; Data Entry, Account Reconciliation; Payroll Related Duties; Update Financial Records, Prepare Reports, Filing and Creating Labels, Perform other duties as assigned.


Bachelor’s Degree preferred or Associate’s degree and at least 2 years’ experience in Accounting, Finance, or other Related Field.
Average to above average Excel skills with a desire to learn and proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent organizational, writing, and interpersonal skills. High attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to exercise discretion with confidential information. Adept at time management and assignment prioritization.


All candidates must pass a criminal background check, pre-employment drug screening, and be willing to drive their own or School vehicle for School business.

Teacher (Special Education)

Responsibilities: Teach high-school math, English and community living skills to students working toward a certificate of completion; Develop and implement academic goals and objectives for students’ Individual Educational Plans (IEPs);  Participate in IEP meetings and manage IEP packets prior to meetings; Select appropriate instructional materials and strategies and plan lessons for both small groups and individual students; Monitor student progress, record grades in quarterly report cards, prepare other written reports as necessary; Supervise two or more teaching assistants and act as case manager five to nine students.  The ideal candidate must be organized and creative in using adaptive strategies to meet the diverse needs of the students.  

Requirements: Must have Maryland State Department of Education (MSDE) teacher certificate as a special educator or in the process of obtaining certification.  All candidates must be willing to drive their own vehicle or school vehicle for school purposes as well as pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Maintenance Assistant


Responsibilities: To assist the Facilities Manager with the upkeep of school equipment, buildings, and grounds to ensure a clean, safe, and efficient environment.

Requirements: High school diploma and previous skilled trade experience in plumbing, electrical, and/or equipment maintenance and repair is required; Experience making minor building, plumbing, electrical, and equipment repairs; Ability to read and interpret equipment operations manuals; Good interpersonal skills; Ability to lift 50 pounds, climb ladders; and bend and stand for long periods of time. Successful candidate must have a valid driver's license and be willing to drive own vehicle as well as school vehicles for school business and/or to transport staff and students as necessary.

Duties: Assist in maintenance of school buildings and grounds according to an established maintenance schedule; Make repairs and/or modifications to facility and equipment; Maintenance of landscaping and landscaping equipment; Snow removal; Operate commercial floor care machinery; Set up and breakdown of rooms as needed.

Hiring is contingent upon successful completion of a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.

Speech-Language Pathologist

Immediate, Permanent, Full-Time Position Available

ResponsibilitiesConduct assessments, treatment planning and therapeutic interventions in an interdisciplinary environment, integrated into classrooms and other activities as well as by using the pull-out model.  Co-treating and co-teaching options available, as well as individual and small group therapy models. Work with a team of SLP’s, special educators, and other related service providers in a positive, collaborative and engaging private, nonpublic school setting.  

RequirementsMasters in Speech-Language Pathology, State license, and CCC.  CFY opportunity available as well.  All candidates must pass a criminal background check and pre-employment drug screening.


Classroom Assistant (Special Education)

Responsibilities: May serve as a teaching assistant, program assistant or one-to-one assistant. Assist with classroom preparation, organization, instruction, behavior management, and support of students throughout the school day to create a positive learning atmosphere.

Requirements: Bachelor’s Degree preferred; AA degree or equivalent credit count or successful completion of the ParaPro assessment acceptable; some experience with special populations preferred; successful completion of a drug screening and Criminal Background Check.
