Occupational Therapy

Programs & Services

Occupational therapists provide services as required by students' IEPs to promote functional independence in academics, vocational placements, and community settings. This may include performing evaluations, direct treatment, and/or consultation with the team to address the following areas as they affect school performance:

  • Fine Motor Skills

  • Visual Motor Skills

  • Functional Upper Extremity/Hand Skills

  • Fine Motor Coodination

  • Manual Dexterity

  • Bilateral Skills

  • Sensory Processing Skills

  • Activities of Daily Living (including eating, toileting, dressing, and grooming skills)

  • Functional Use of Adaptive Equipment/Strategies
