Become an Investor in St. Elizabeth School!

One of the best ways you can make a difference in the lives of St. Elizabeth School students is to make a contribution to the School. SES receives tuition funding from local school systems and the State of Maryland for basic programs and services. However, these funds do not cover all costs. Your gifts are what make the difference by providing program enhancements and enriching opportunities for students that go above and beyond the basics. Your tax-deductible contribution makes it possible for St. Elizabeth School to continue to be a premier school in special education. SES is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.

Ways to Give

Contributions are always welcome. You may designate your gift to one of five funds during this 2008-09 school year, or to the SES Foundation:

  • Classroom Fund -- gifts to this fund will be used to provide educational materials and supplies to classrooms
  • Therapies Fund – gifts to this fund will be used to provide materials, equipment, and supplies for clinical services, art therapy, occupational therapy, physical therapy, and speech-language therapies.
  • Vocational Fund – gifts to this fund will be used to support our vocational training programs and activities, including SES Artisans and our Vending Program.
  • Technology Fund – gifts to this fund will be used to provide Assistive Technology equipment for students, as well as supporting the continual upgrading of computers, software, and licenses throughout the school.
  • General Fund -- undesignated gifts that will have an immediate impact to support projects or meet needs as they arise during the school year.
  • SES Foundation – gifts for the long-term health and stability of the school. See below for more information about the SES Foundation.

Store Purchases

Giant Food supports SES through Bonus Card A+ Bonus Bucks program. Designate SES on-line at www.giantfood.com or in any store. The SES School ID # is 01449. Remember, you must designate the school every fall, at the beginning of their new campaign. Be sure to watch for information at your local Giant. Giant has donated almost $5,000 to SES in recent years.

Target Stores support SES through Take Charge of Education program. Apply for a REDCard (Target VISA) and designate St. Elizabeth School #7782. Using the REDCard earns SES 1% of purchases at Target and Target.com, and ½% everywhere else VISA cards are accepted. You can apply for the credit cards and designate SES in stores or on-line at www.target.com. Go to the bottom of the home page, then click on “Community” then “Education” then “Take Charge of Education.” Designate #7782. Target has donated over $2,000 to SES since 1997.

Office Depot: Every time you purchase something at Office Depot, tell the cashier you would like to designate St. Elizabeth School # 700 459 71 for a rebate. Office Depot will then apply 5% of your purchase to their Rebates to Schools program for SES. SES uses these rebates when ordering paper supplies.

Your participation in these store rebate programs is extremely helpful.

Work Place Giving

United Way provides yet another way to support St. Elizabeth School. Payroll deductions through United Way enhance the programs we offer to students. Please use the write-in form to designate SES as recipient. SES is not a United Way agency; however, we have been approved to receive funds via United Way because of the population we serve. Our number is 3824. Just enter 3824 and write-in the name of the school and the address – 801 Argonne Drive, Baltimore, MD 21218.

Matching Gifts are available through many employers. They will match contributions in whole or partial percentages of a donor’s gift to a charitable organization. This allows you, the donor, to increase your gift to St. Elizabeth School. Ask your employer for necessary forms.
