St. Elizabeth School promotes the social and emotional development of students across the curriculum by focusing on issues such as developing relationships, dealing with peer pressure, identifying and adopting positive values and learning to resolve conflicts in social, academic, and work settings.

Students may participate in group and individual counseling, a school-wide behavior program, and peer mediation.  A variety of social activities provide students with opportunities to enrich personal growth including Student Council, Best Buddies, athletic teams, school dances, chorus, performing arts, and more.  Clinical services at St. Elizabeth School are integrated throughout the educational setting.

Parents are an important part of the treatment team and may be seen for individual or family counseling.  An active Parent Support Group provides additional assistance to families.
